Representatives of the seven partner organisations of Ecotextyle met on La Rioja in order to take part on the first transnational activity of the project, prepare future steps and get to know the facilities of the local partners in charge of hosting the activity.
The event was especially used for two main aims. On the one side, to evaluate the results of the research made at local level on each project country about the knowledge of SMEs on sustainable productions and product environmental management on the footwear and textile sector. On the other side, the activity was used to prepare the coming project stages and share among partners their responsibility towards the development of the final product of the project: an online platform and face to face workshops to train professionals on respectful environmental policies, procedures and processes related to the footwear industry.
